The characters all seem like typical good girls dealing with some problems. It will be interesting to see how they get resolved.

In these progressive days I bet that lots of girls are in her shoes. One parent family and she/he is marrying a bimbo or studmuffin. How will she handle it?

Sounds like a great, light summer read! I'd love to read it!
ReplyDeleteOoh - this sounds really good. I love to cry over books, and you just know that this one is going to be a tear jerker - between her being miserable, her Dad trying to make her like the bimbo, and the fact that he's going to marry the bimbo no matter how she feels.
ReplyDeleteThe theme of friendship really appeals to me. I can picture myself reading this book on the beach this summer!
ReplyDeleteThank you!

ReplyDeleteWhat appeals to me is the focus on the importance of supportive relationships, especially positive peer relationships and how this can buffer the life stressors that anyone, especially teens can face.
