I am honestly surprised by the number of companies that do not offer online product manuals of product support. Are we supposed to just go fork out the cash for a new product if we lose the appropriate information? I think having product support online is just part of good customer service. But, good customer service is sometimes hard to find.
I have recently found a company that offers all sorts of customer support information online. They make mosquito traps, a product we could really use here in the land of helicopter size "skeeters". You can find manuals, mosquito magnet repair information, and all sorts of tools to help you get the most from your device. I was quite impressed with the wealth of information they offer.
I wish I could say the same for the manufacturer of my bread machine. Oh well, that's life. But, I now do more research before buying anything to see if I can get product support online. What about you? Is being able to access product support information something you consider before making a new purchase? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
