A Great Frugal Resource

23 May 2009
I recently read Miserly Moms by Jonni McCoy and was completely thrilled with it! Anyone wanting to cut back on spending and live a more frugal lifestyle needs a copy of this book. The author chose to quit working and be a SAHM, and she writes about how she went from a two income household to one. If you are looking to do the same, or just looking to stretch your family's resources during these tough times, this book is a great resource.

The amount of information in Miserly Moms is unbelievable! From spotting advertising tricks, shrinking packaging, truly good deals, or marketing ploys, Jonni McCoy covers it all. She also hits on meal planning, cooking from scratch, making your own products from household cleaners to beauty aids. There is a lot of great advice in these pages. This book truly can help you cut back on your spending.

Whether you are just starting your frugal journey, or are a miser from way back like me, this book is a great read. It's filled with great tips, testimonials from other moms, and just really sound advice that will help your family. I give it two thumbs up!
