Mommyfest Potluck

Here is one of my family's favorite snack foods. They can have a bit of a kick, depending on the peppers. Hope you enjoy!
Last Call Jalapenos AKA Armadillo Eggs
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
2 teaspoons garlic powder
15 large fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and sliced lengthwise
15 slices of bacon, cut in half

Preheat grill to medium heat. Mix cream cheese, Cajun seasoning and garlic powder together. Fill each jalapeno half with cream cheese mixture. Wrap stuffed jalapeno with bacon slice and secure with toothpick. Place on grill and cook until bacon is done, about 10 minutes. Remove toothpicks before serving.
Makes 30 appetizers
This came from The Cook Like A Man Cookbook, which was put out by the Marlboro company a few years back. It just showed up in the mail one day.

That sounds really yummy. I am definately going to try this one! During the summer we grill out about everynight!
