All I can say is wow! How do you get your homemade porn clips mixed in with vids of your students? Why didn't she preview the dvd before sending it home with the kids? It is such a stupid mistake to make! As a mother i am quite upset about this.
What do you think? Was it an accident? Should she lose her job? Or was it just a stupid mistake? I want to know what you think.

Okay . . .who knows whether it was an accident or not. I haven't heard about it. However . . . kids are doing much worse on the bus, in the school bathrooms, and posting on myspace, along with sextexting so while it shouldn't be on a memory DVD for the students it's really not that serious! There is a lot more to be concerned about than that!
I think it was an honest mistake. A STUPID mistake (who doesn't edit their videos?!) but an honest one.
As far as the material on it - I have sixth graders across from my special ed classroom having sex in the bathroom!
It would be hard to explain it...and she'll never live it down...but I dont' think she should be fired. I wonder if she could be transferred? Would it be easier?
Ack! You know, sometimes I've accidentally renamed the wrong file, and don't realize it for awhile, maybe that's what she did? Gosh, what a horrible mistake! *cringe* I'd totally flip out if it was my kid!
No matter what the decision is by the school board, she's stuck with a change of career. You fire her, and it follows, and even if you just suggest she changes school districts, it will still be on her record.
